ARTIST

Wolfgang Aichner graduated in Fine Arts at the University of East London. Amongst other awards, he has received a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, New York, and he has taught at three universities. Besides developing further his individual work, in 2005 he founded the partnership GÆG (global aesthetic genetics), with the Munich based Artist Thomas Huber.

GÆG exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2011 and received the Californian Film Award for the best foreign short film.

Aichner lives and works as a freelancing artist in Munich.
